SG Holdings, the parent of courier Sagawa Express, has formed a tie-up with Philippine logistics giant LBC Express, the Japanese company said Friday.
SG will conduct package delivery in the Southeast Asian nation by tapping the logistics network of the Manila-based company, which has some 1,100 locations nationwide. SG has handled business-to-business shipments in the country but now can deliver packages sent from Japan to Philippine homes.
The company also will offer comprehensive logistics services for business customers by using LBC’s warehouses.
SG has been expanding in Asia. The company joined hands with Indonesian logistics company RPX in April.
