Anonymous declares war against ISIL

An international network of computer hackers has declared war against Islamic State militants. “Anonymous” is vowing to carry out massive cyber attacks against the terror group. A man wearing a Guy Fawkes mask appeared on a video posted to YouTube on Saturday. He described himself as a member of Anonymous. He said in the 2-and-a-half minute video that Friday’s attacks in Paris that killed innocent people were intolerable and that Anonymous doesn’t forgive and forget. He called the militants vermin. The man said the hacker group plans to launch the biggest operation ever against the militants. Since the terror attack in January on French weekly newspaper Charlie Hebdo, Anonymous has been waging an online campaign to shut down Twitter profiles believed to belong to supporters of the militants.
