Would you like chocolate fries with that?

McDonald’s Japan said Tuesday that it will offer French fries with chocolate sauces as a topping, dubbed the McChoco Potato, beginning Jan. 26.

The company has offered a variety of toppings for fries, including cheese sauce and bacon, but this is the first time that they provide a “sweet” sauce.

The topping will feature both regular and white chocolate, offering “exquisite harmony of sweetness and saltiness,” the company said in a statement. McChoco Potato can be enjoyed as dessert, but also as a side item to go with burgers, it said.

The burger chain had struggled in Japan after a series of food contamination cases were reported, including a human tooth found inside a pack of French fries sold at a store in Osaka in 2014. But boosted by special menu items and a popular kid’s menu, the company’s same-store sales rose 8% year over year in December – the biggest increase since November 2011.

The chocolate fries comes at a time when other chains continue introducing visually unique products, including the red and black burgers by Burger King Japan.

McChoco Potato will be sold for ¥330 ($2.80) and will be available until mid-February.
