Paul McCartney arrives in Japan for concerts
British pop star Paul McCartney has arrived in Japan to hold concerts in the country for the first time in 2 years.
A private jet carrying the former Beatle touched down at Tokyo’s Haneda Airport on Sunday. The 74-year-old was greeted by about 700 fans in the arrival lobby.
A man said it was a dream come true when he shook hands with the artist.
McCartney will give 4 concerts in the Japanese capital this time. The first gig will take place on Tuesday at the Nippon Budokan arena, where the Beatles performed 51 years ago.
