Enoshima Island Spa is a restorative escape less than 90 minutes from Central Tokyo. Located on Enoshima Island in Kanagawa Prefecture along the picturesque Shonan Coast, Enospa focuses on whole-body wellness with a range of facilities and services to help guests look and feel their best from the inside out. With an ever-evolving menu comprised of the latest treatments, there’s always something new to experience when you visit Enospa.
You can reach Enoshima Island Spa from Odakyu Line Katase Enoshima Station (quick transfer from JR at Fujisawa station or direct on the Romance Car from Shinjuku) or via the Shonan Enoshima monorail stop (catch the monorail from JR Ofuna Station). We have a free and regular shuttle bus to and from the spa but it is also a nice walk across the bridge and ocean to this magnificent and welcoming island power spot. Mt. Fuji on your right, the expansive Pacific all around and a sweet island covered with temples and steeped in history ahead.
Enoshima Island Spa is a day spa (no overnight accommodations) that’s home to several unique facilities including natural hot spring onsen, indoor and outdoor pools (with a gorgeous view of Mt. Fuji) and a cave area to help you unwind and forget your cares.
Guests can experience the finest holistic treatments at Beng Teng Spa utilizing various forms of massage as well as hot stones, essential oils and all-natural skincare products. Yumemi Shiatsu Salon is located on the second floor for traditional shiatsu massage to restore balance and the natural flow of energy throughout the body.
Dining options include the Island Grill Restaurant, which features a menu of only the freshest, locally sourced ingredients expertly prepared for optimal flavor as well as nutritional benefit.
Enoshima Beng Teng Clinic can also be found at Enospa. Staffed with doctors, dietitians and therapists, the clinic creates specialized treatments plans personalized for each guest to help them achieve optimal wellness.
They use a variety of traditional and holistic therapies to treat common ailments including skin conditions and intestinal issues, working in conjunction with the rest of the staff at Enospa as an alliance partner.
A totally stress-free environment
The staff at Enospa strives to provide a totally stress-free environment. One of the ways this is achieved is through a device-free policy. Allow yourself to experience the full benefits of Enospa’s services — and help your fellow guests do the same — by leaving your cell phones, cameras, laptops and tablets at home or stowed away in a locker during your visit. Whether you stay for an hour or the entire day, you’ll be amazed at what a little time away from calls, emails and texts can do for you.
Important policy
Enospa welcomes guests from around the world looking to experience the unique therapies native to Japan. There is, however, a strict no-tattoo policy all guests should be mindful of. Body art of any kind (permanent, temporary sticker, henna, etc.) isn’t permitted within Enospa’s facilities, since certain areas allow for nudity to enjoy the spa’s onsen baths, sauna and massage treatments.
Inquiries in English and Japanese
Enospa is open year-round to adults, teens and children over the age of six. There is an adult’s only policy on Sunday so no young children on Sundays for even more privacy and quiet. We welcome inquiries in English and Japanese and can help coordinate your treatment reservation, party plan at the ocean view Island Grill restaurant, purchase a gift certificate for a loved one, etc.
