Philippines’ 2nd Japan-made coast guard vessel arrives

The Philippine Coast Guard welcomed its second Parola-class 44-meter multi-role response vessel, BRP Malabrigo (MMRV-4402) at the Headquarters Coast Guard Ready Force Pier 13, Manila today, December 8. Transportation Undersecretary for Maritime Sector, Felipe A. Judan attended the occasion as the Guest of Honor and Speaker. She was named after the Malabrigo Point Lighthouse situated in Lobo, Batangas. BRP Malabrigo is the second of ten ordered Parola-class patrol vessel.
