Childrens are having fun when belugas, called white dolphins (Shiro iruka) in Japanese, sprays water on them. They applaud when this happens. It is a refreshing moment during the peak of summer.
There are two female beluga named Palala and Kururu (パ ラ ラ と ク ル ル) who stars at the show time. It is so successful that they are already in the 9th year of shows.
Despite the huge body, 4 meters long and about 600kg in weight, they play in the pool and splash water in the public.
The belugas have 2 performances, at 11am and 14:45pm at the place called Fureai Lagoon (ふ れ あ い ラ グ ー ン), inside the aquarium, it was until September 1st . They will have different schedules on a later date, please check their website.
There are other activities in the same place like swimming with dolphin or beluga and playing with them. These rates are separate .
To watch this show with belugas you must get a passport for 1 day. This way you can enjoy all the facilities.
- High School and Adult: ¥ 5,050
- Elementary and junior high school student: ¥ 3,600
- Child (from 4 to elementary age): ¥ 2,050
- Senior (over 65 years): ¥ 3600
