A theme park company in southwestern Japan is opening an amusement space in Tokyo featuring virtual reality as competition in the industry heats up.
The Huis Ten Bosch facility will open in the trendy Shibuya district on Saturday. It has 5 virtual reality attractions already popular at the firm’s park in Nagasaki Prefecture.
Visitors wearing headsets will feel like they’re flying into outer space, then plunging back into a city filled with skyscrapers. Vibrating seats will contribute to the sensation.
Officials at Huis Ten Bosch hope the Tokyo facility will help draw more visitors to their park in Nagasaki.
