Man sent 500 items of garbage in mail in revenge for bullying
Tokyo Metropolitan Police have arrested a 40-year-old man who is suspected of sending a variety of garbage through the mail to former classmates in a revenge plot for bullying, reports TV Asahi (Nov. 30). On 70 occasions between August of last year and last month, Shigeta Miura, a resident of Musashino City, allegedly mailed rotten tea leaves mixed with dirt and women’s underwear to a 40-year-old acquaintance. Police suspect that he sent more than 500 packages to a total of four persons who were in the same Boy Scout troop with him in elementary school, according to TBS News (Nov. 30).
