Japanese billionaire Kazuo Okada said Wednesday his company is looking to hire about 20,000 Filipinos in the next two years for his $2.4 billion integrated resort and casino in Entertainment City. Okada Manila is expected to create an estimated 8,000 to 10,000 jobs in the first phase of development, which opened for preview on Wednesday. The Japanese tycoon told ANC that he plans to bid for a Philippine airport, on top of resort developments in Palawan and Boracay. Okada said he also plans to list his casino business at the Philippine Stock Exchange in one year. Okada Manila, formerly named Manila Bay Resorts Integrated Resorts and Casino, is the third gaming facility in Pagcor’s Entertainment City in Parañaque.
