Osaka Prefectural Police have arrested a 24-year-old man after a stabbing incident at a residence in Kadoma City left one person dead and three others injured, reports TBS News(Oct. 19). At approximately 4:00 a.m. on Wednesday, police received a distress call about “an unknown intruder who stabbed members of my family.” Officers arriving at the scene found Yukinobu Kawakami, 43, on the second floor of the residence with stab wounds to his chest and abdomen. Police subsequently arrested Yuma Kobayashi, a 24-year-old part-time employee at a high school, at the crime scene on charges of attempted murder. “I don’t recall the incident,” the suspect was quoted by police.
