Torrential rainfall is causing landslides and floods as a storm makes its way towards eastern Japan. One person is missing and at least 36 have been injured. Airlines have canceled more than 180 domestic flights. Residents of Kagoshima Prefecture found a concrete bridge completely washed over. They found spots of landslides along the river. Another river flooded a town in neighboring Miyazaki Prefecture. The water came up as high as 1 meter.
