A Tokaido Shinkansen bullet train has made an emergency stop in central Japan after a passenger found a snake in one of the cars on Monday. The train from Tokyo to Hiroshima made an unscheduled stop at Hamamatsu station in Shizuoka Prefecture. (Image/Reproduction: NHK) Police rushed onto the train and caught the snake. They say there are no reports of injuries. Police say the snake is brown and about 30 centimeters long. They have yet to learn if it is a Japanese species or how it got on the train.
