A mudslide triggered by heavy rains has caused a train to partially derail in Hiroshima, western Japan.West Japan Railway Company says a crew member on the San-yo Line reported their train ran into a pile of mud and rocks shortly after 12:30 AM on Thursday. The train’s driver noticed the tracks were covered and immediately hit the emergency brakes. But the first of the train’s 4 cars partially derailed.The train had about 120 passengers, but no injuries were reported.The passengers were taken off the train onto waiting buses just past 3 AM, about 2-and-a-half hours after the accident.
