Assistant professor arrested for filming up girl’s skirt in Fukuoka

Police in Kurume, Fukuoka Prefecture, said Sunday they have arrested a 31-year-old university assistant professor for filming up a girl’s skirt. According to police, the suspect, Takao Matsumoto, used a small digital camera hidden in a bag to film up a 14-year-old girl’s skirt in a book store in a shopping complex on Saturday at around 2:35 p.m., Sankei Shimbun reported. Matsumoto is an assistant professor at Fukuoka University’s Faculty of Engineering.   A security guard told police he thought it was odd when he saw Matsumoto standing behind the girl with his bag in front of him.
