A woman was found dead inside her car in Almendras Street, Mabolo in Cebu City Thursday morning.
The victim was identified as Agnelen Uy, 30. She had a bullet wound in her head, with her hands and feet tied with masking tape.
A security guard, Wilfredo Paspie, found the body while he was going to work. He called the police when he noticed that the woman was still inside the car after a few hours.
Aside from the victim’s personal belongings and her two mobile phones, authorities recovered a slug from a caliber .45 pistol, and a gallon of gasoline inside the car.
A certain Wayne Christopher Uy introduced himself as the woman’s husband. He said he was with his wife Wednesday night when they were allegedly intercepted by two persons riding a motorcycle. The men forced him to alight the car, before they sped off with his wife.
He said he and his wife had been separated for four years.
