The aircraft was badly damaged. The engine was ripped from its wing and fell into the water.

Pegasus Airlines has issued a statement, saying there were no injuries among the passengers and crew members.

The country’s Asia-Pacific Peace Committee on Wednesday released a statement condemning the UN resolution that was adopted on Monday.

The statement pledges to settle the score with the United States by all possible means. It condemns Japan, which it says has yet to come to its senses despite the ballistic missile that flew over the nation.

The statement stresses that North Korea remains committed to accelerating its nuclear and missile programs, saying it only believes in having a nuclear deterrent for self-defense.

Police say many people have been injured in the fire, which broke out at around 1 AM on Wednesday.

40 fire engines and 200 firefighters are battling the blaze from the building which is more than 20 stories high.

The London Ambulance Service said they have taken 30 patients to five hospitals.

British media quote witnesses as saying that there are still people trapped inside. Media footage shows the entire building is engulfed in flames, and its walls are badly burned.

The building’s outer walls have reportedly collapsed, and the neighborhood is being evacuated.

The firm managing the apartment building says the high-rise was built in 1974, and contains 120 apartment units.

The building underwent refurbishment in recent years.

Tom Bossert told reporters that, as of Monday morning, more than 300,000 devices in around 150 countries had been affected.

The cyber-attack, which targets Microsoft Windows machines, was accompanied by ransom demands. It is believed that a total of nearly 70,000 dollars has been paid so far around the world.

Bossert called for continuous alert. He added that the attack has hit a small number of US businesses, but so far no US federal systems have been affected.

Microsoft said on Sunday that the perpetrators used tools stolen by hackers from the National Security Agency in the United States.

Bossert did not comment directly on the remark by Microsoft. He said this was not a tool developed by the NSA but by the guilty parties, who could be criminals in foreign nation states.

South Korea’s Yonhap news agency said the missile exploded in midair soon after the launch.

South Korea’s defense ministry said the launch took place near an airport in Wonsan. It added that the South Korean military is analyzing the launch to determine the missile’s type.

A US State Department official told NHK that the country will urge North Korea to stop provocative acts that undermine peace and stability.

On February 12th, North Korea test-fired a ground-based medium-range ballistic missile near Kusong in the northwestern province of Pyongan-pukdo into the Sea of Japan. The missile was an upgraded version of a submarine-launched ballistic missile.

On March 6th, it launched 4 missiles almost at the same time from Tongchang-ri in Pyongan-pukdo toward the Sea of Japan. Three of the missiles — believed to include the Scud-ER type with a range of 1,000 kilometers — fell into Japan’s exclusive economic zone.

North Korea strongly opposes the ongoing US-South Korea joint military exercise that began in South Korea on March 1st.

The US and South Korean forces are stepping up caution and monitoring of the North’s moves, as the country is to mark major anniversaries next month.

Pop singer George Michael, an acclaimed singer and songwriter who became one of the most successful and influential artists of his time with his band, Wham! and later as a solo artist, has died.

He was 53. No cause of death was provided offically, though his manager has stated he died of heart failure.

Born Georgios Kyriacos Panayiotou in 1963 North London to a Greek Cypriot father and an English mother, Michael first achieved fame alongside his friend Andrew Ridgeley in 1981 as the pop duo Wham!.

The band’s first album, “Fantastic” was a major hit in Britain, but it was “Make it Big”, the duo’s 1984 follow up that catapulted them to worldwide fame.

The album would spawn five hit singles and eventually sell more than six million copies in the United States alone, turning Michael, lead singer and lead songwriter, into a global icon.
